Smelling Davana oil for the first time you would be forgiven for thinking you are smelling a fine aged bourbon or rum. Beloved for its fruity and liquor top notes, this luscious oi l comes from many of the same areas as Indian Sandalwood Oil and it is prized, especially amongst natural perfumers, for contributing a fruit note that is otherwise difficult to obtain. It is a member of the Artemisia family and not surprisingly it modifies and blends well with its relatives (particularly Armoise).
