It is smart to always train atlas stones with tacky to lower the risk of injury and because this training blend is more economical it can be used all the time in training. Most top stone loaders use a less thick blend of tacky in training to get used to squeezing the stones hard in training and this training blend is perfect for that. The optimum temperature for this tacky is 50 degrees and warmer but can be used in colder temperatures if you have a way to heat it up before application. This tacky is hand made in small batches by WSM competitor Dave Ostlund to ensure quality.
