2017 Remaster on 180-gram Vinyl This 1980 studio release was the first following Bowie’s Berlin Trilogy of Low, Heroes and Lodger (1977-1979). Scary Monsters was a critical and com mercial success, peaking at #1 in the UK and restoring his commercial standing in the U.S. In “Ashes To Ashes,” Bowie revisits the character of Major Tom from Space Oddity.
