IN STOCK 3050 x 2450mm (10'x8') Lola was inspired by the glazed ceramic vessels that David and his daughter Lola decorated in the studio of Montreal ceramic artist Pascale Girardin . Girardin used this same brushstroke approach to create hand-thrown sake vessels for Rockwell Group’s new Nobu Downtown restaurant in Lower Manhattan. With a desire to entertain both the eye and the individual, American architect, David Rockwell, uses lively design narratives. The son of a vaudeville dancer and a choreographer, Rockwell’s upbringing has led to a fascination with the theatrical and an eccentricity to his creations, from those for fine hotels and restaurants to Broadway musicals and product design.
