The Davis 6450 Solar Radiation Sensor is used to measure solar radiation and solar energy for the Vantage Pro2 and original Pro models. Diffuser element and housing are carefully d esigned for accurate cosine response. Silicon photo diode provides good match to solar spectrum. Two-piece housing minimises radiation heating, allows convection cooling of the sensor, and prevents the trapping of water or dust.
