DAWOHL is born in 2009 and has been revealed with its first EP, “Potestas.Ratio.Iustitia” on which the band developed a strong musical identity, defined by its power and its darkness, which takes root both in the death metal scene (ZYKLON, HATE ETERNAL) and black metal (INFERNAL WAR, ARKHON INFAUSTUS) from the 2000s.After 7 long years of waiting, DAWOHL signs on DOLOREM RECORDS in order to release its first album which is entitled "LEVIATHAN". Through this one, the band will portrait, through its lyrics and illustrations, an amoral dystopia where individuals are shaped in their flesh as well as in their minds to serve the purposes of a higher entity that they have even created: the State. The texts have their roots in fictional works such as "Brave New World" by Aldus Huxley, but also in philosophy and sociology with a work such as "Leviathan" by Thomas Hobbes, from which the album title is inspired.Young french band, with members of Ritualization or The Scalar Process.
