The Day Connect day clock has been developed to help people living with dementia with time and date orientation, helping them to manage daily routines and maintain independence. The Day Connect day clock is easy to use, can be set to either a 12 or 24 hour clock and helps to provide reassurance and peace of mind that daily tasks have been completed. Pair this device with the Day Hub day clock to start using Task Alerts to remind the user to complete daily tasks at regular times. This clock supports eight languages (see key features). Key features Superior HD display with excellent contrast and clarity Customisable screen. Choose either text or icon display. Text display has the following time ranges: morning (04:00-11:59), afternoon (12:00-17:59), evening (18:00-21:59), night (22:00-03:59). If you choose the icons, the time ranges will be as follows: sun: 06.00 - 17.59, moon: 18.00 - 05.59. These times are set and are not able to be customised. Customisable brightness and audio levels Visible from all angles, whether seated or standing Automatically dims to ambient light levels. Please note this dimming function cannot be disabled. There is a battery which will provide a back up if product is unplugged and data will not be lost. This battery should not be relied on to power the device for normal use but if the device loses power, the installed battery will save your settings.
