This seating is low to the ground 14-15” for a casual daybed feel, the intention being a sofa your friends could crash on for the night. The bolsters are not fixed to the seat, so they can be placed on either end of the seating cushion, along the back, or stacked together at one side. Multi-functional pieces of furniture are a must in a small city apartment! The arches on the base are intended to represent the bridges leading into the island of manhattan with the repetition of forms alluding to the repeating pattern of suspension cables you see when driving over.
