Alejandro farms in a region shaped by the volcanic soils of Sotará and Puracé—an area known for producing complex, aromatic coffees. Each harvest reflects the care and consistency he puts into his work, and this lot is tasting better than ever. Alejandro uses organic fertilizers and pesticides made directly on the farm.He continues to refine his craft season after season, steadily elevating both quality and expression, and develops coffees that align closely with small, quality-focused roasters like us. We truly believe the best is still ahead. Our coffee contains only one ingredient: 100% specialty-grade Arabica beans. TRACEABILITY We work directly with producer Alejandro Ariza to bring coffee from his farm straight into our hands, then directly to your cup. No middlemen, import brokers, or long term storage. Daybreak comes from designated trees selected specifically for our beans, allowing us to maintain consistency and showcase the unique character of the farm. Once harvested and processed, the beans are sent directly to us while still fresh, where we roast each batch in Tampa using carefully developed roast curves designed to highlight the natural flavors of the coffee. From producer to roaster to customer, every step is intentional, fully traceable, and handled with care.
