DBX 6x4 Digital Zone Processor 640 The ZonePRO 640 designed by DBX is a digital zone processor that features 6-channels of input and four outputs. The unit is appropriate for installation in restaurants, retail stores, fitness centers, nightclubs, and any other situation that needs multiple-zone control of audio sources with paging features. The DBX ZonePRO 640 has limited front-panel control, but both it and the ZonePRO 641 (same features, but without front-panel control) need a computer for initial setup. The processor provides 2-balanced inputs on Euroblock terminals that are selectable as line or microphone level (with phantom power), along with four pairs of analog RCA line inputs, with each pair internally summed to mono. Outputs are available using Euroblock terminals and can be configured as either stereo or mono. Front-panel control contains zone output volume, source select, and muting for each zone. Output level meters with six-segment LED meters and output dynamics threshold LEDs provide visual feedback of signal levels.
