Stunning firming serum that addresses the effects of long-term stress and hormonal changes on aging skin / 1 fl oz de Mamiel Gravity Fix is a potent serum designed specifically to firm, lift, and smooth skin that is experiencing sagging, dullness, and dryness as a result of chronic stress and/or hormonal changes. It is a stunning addition to the de Mamiel lineup, and an excellent, holistic antidote to the overly-rapid aging that so many are noticing in their skin these days. Specifically, Gravity Fix targets the stress response of glycation: when long-term elevated cortisol levels produce excess glucose, resulting in wrinkles, sagginess, dullness, and a weakened barrier function. If this sounds like it might be for you, are you also finding yourself craving sugar or salt, or feeling that you’re holding on to a load of sadness, or going through either perimenopause or menopause? Then yes: it is definitely, absolutely, perfectly made for you. The genius of this product comes from a blend of ingredients shown to strengthen and plump the skin, improve its barrier health, and prompt renewal, added to a texture and a scent that invite you to slow down, breathe, and massage it in — adding a moment into your day to help break the cycle of chronic stress. Glycoin and ectoin help stimulate collagen production and energize the cells, wiping up free radicals. Multi-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid and acetylglucosamine provide both immediate and long-term hydration, while retinal helps encourage cell turnover and promote elasticity without irritation; ceramides and red algae help strengthen skin, too. And the scent, masterfully crafted by Annee, works on an emotional level to help decrease stress every time you massage it onto your face. Our testers adored this product, noticing both an immediate glow and, over the long term, skin that “just reminds me of how I used to look.” Which is, really, the best thing that many of us could hope for.
