Edited by Vyvyan Holland, this is the complete text of Wilde's last prose work in English. Originally published in 1905, it was at the time composed of extracts from a much longer work cast in the form of a letter to a particular Lord, written on blue prison paper and taken with Wilde to France on release from gaol in 1897.
