As such, kintsugi represents a compassionate aesthetic philosophy in which damage and wear are embraced as part of an object’s history. Kintsugi was released after the departure of founding guitarist/keyboardist/producer Chris Walla, who recorded the album before announcing that he would be leaving the band, and features the hits “Black Sun” and “The Ghosts of Beverly Drive,” plus fan favorites “No Room in Frame,” “Little Wanderer,” and “Good Help (Is So Hard to Find)."
