Eventide DeBoom is a one-knob low-end tool built on Structural Split technology. It separates transient attack from tonal body, then EQs the tonal layer to remove boom and mud on kicks, bass, and other low-heavy sources without stripping punch. Power users achieve similar results with SplitEQ; DeBoom distills that workflow into a single corrective gesture for fast mix fixes. Structural Split Processing Incoming audio is analyzed into transient (attacks, pops, plosives) and tonal (sustained tone, harmonics, ambience) streams. EQ curves target the tonal layer only, so thump and attack stay intact while resonance and mud are reduced. Input gain, bypass, and undo/redo round out the interface.
