[ON RESERVE PENDING PAYMENT] Original vintage constructivist design Soviet movie poster for the silent historical drama film The Decembrists (декабристы / Dekabristy) directed by Aleksandr Ivanovsky about the uprisings of the Decembrists movement with a romantic love story between the Decembrist Ivan Annenkov and a French milliner Polina Geble starring Vladimir Maksimov, Yevgeni Boronikhin and Varvara Annenkova. Great illustration by the notable Soviet artists the Stenberg Brothers (Vladimir 1899-1982; Georgii 1900-1933) and Yakov Ruklevsky (1884-1965) depicting the face of a lady in green with a man on a horse in purple against a dark background with faint circles in grey and white, the title text in stylised yellow lettering below and the credits on the side. Right half of a two sheet poster (the other half is missing and rarely surfaces). Good condition, restored fold marks, backed on linen.
