Debut 12" from newcomer Decibel on Tectonic. Seems like there's been some major trend shifts in the dubstep/bass scene and Decibel's self-titled EP reflects the best of them. Gone are the overpowering wobble bass drops in favor of shiny 16-bit synth melodies ("Miss") and smoked-out 808's seem and screwed up rap vox seem to be the order of the day on "G.A.S." Really not mad at it.
