This photograph was made on Ocean Drive in the Art Deco district of South Beach in Miami Beach , Florida. This is one of my favorite photos made on Miami Beach as this composition is a confluence of so many wonderful elements. The classic antique car parked in front of the famous Art Deco hotel, The Avalon, makes for a unique and captivating photo in and of itself. Now add this family off to some kind of South Beach party all decked out really makes this photograph standout. This photograph speaks to the South Beach vibe is such a strong and unique way. This photo was taken around 7:30 in the morning. I had taken a number of shots of the parked car and hotel but was looking to add something extra, something special to the photo. I waited for no less than 45 minutes for an interesting passerby to give this photo some extra appeal. My patience paid off when this young family arrived on the scene and stood in the perfect spot for this image.
