A fully intact Lucerne oil lamp in brass — the kind of precision domestic lighting that predated gas and electricity. Oil filled the four-spout font, wicks were lit and the two emb ossed shield reflectors directed the light forward. The wick pick maintained the flame, the snuffer extinguished it, and the drip dish caught the overflow. Every original component is present — four-spout font, both reflectors, wick pick, snuffer on original chain, height adjustment mechanism, carrying ring, and drip base. Complete examples with all tools intact are rare; the small implements are almost always the first things lost over a century of use.
