This vessel is a unique and earthy statement piece that reminds me of mossy rocks. Speckled brown clay was used for the construction, approximately 10" tall. After the base was scu lpted (like a big pinch pot) then coils were added, working up from the base. My favorite part of the process? Carving openings in various organic shapes.
