Decoy Chardonnay 2021 is a polished California white that brings together generous fruit, subtle oak influence, and a refreshing sense of balance. Crafted from 100% Chardonnay and produced by Decoy, the sister label of Duckhorn Vineyards, it reflects the style that has made Californian Chardonnay so admired: ripe character, elegance, and approachable complexity.MakuprofiiliIn the glass, the wine shows a bright, pale golden hue. The nose opens with citrus, green apple, and pear, layered with gentle tropical notes and a touch of vanilla and toast from oak aging. On the palate, it is rounded and supple, with a lively acidity that keeps the wine fresh and well-defined. The texture is soft and creamy, while the oak adds depth rather than dominance. The finish is long and harmonious, carrying persistent fruit and a clean, balanced impression. This Chardonnay can be enjoyed now for its freshness and immediate appeal, though it should hold well over the short to medium term.ViininvalmistusSourced from California, Decoy Chardonnay 2021 is made from carefully selected Chardonnay grapes that capture the region’s sun-ripened fruit profile while maintaining balance and structure.
