DeeDee and her fraternal twin Dottie are inseparable. They finish each others sentences, eat off each others plates and live together in a sun-filled home in Ottawa’s Westboro neighbourhood. It is decorated floor to ceiling with mementos, colourful murals and pieces of art - most of which the twins collected on their travels. They spent much of their early life wandering the globe, but eventually, DeeDee, the more practical of the two, suggested they return to Ottawa and open a travel bookshop. Their shop, Roam, has become a neighbourhood fixture and people love to stop in for a chat with the twins and a visit with their cat, Walter.
