Blue, green and purple marbled stud earrings. I have a love/hate relationship with the marbling method - they can either come out in gorgeous colours and patterns, or they look like a greyish squished mess. When they do work, I love them! And this combination of colours is an oceanic dream. I've mixed a green, purple and 2x blue powders into translucent polymer clay, then layered the colours on top of each other, after painting one side with a layer of white acrylic paint. Once I have a 'tower', I use a blade to slice through at different angles - the pieces then show intersections of all the colours and layers. The pieces are rolled into a slab, I cut the shapes, then bake and buff. I don't add resin to the studs, I leave them as they are once baked because I like the contrast in finish on the smaller pieces. Silver fixing made from stainless steel. Also available in dangles.
