Boise’s Deep Heaven are one of those bands that feel familiar and strange at the same time—like stumbling into a dark wave club at 1AM and hearing a song you swear you've heard bef ore in a dream. The duo—Joseph Hoisington (guitar/vocals) and Maxwell Modeen (synths/sequencing)—have been quietly crafting a sound that merges lush dream pop with post-punk pulse and synth-laden melancholy, pulling from the DNA of bands like Nation Of Language, Cocteau Twins, Drab Majesty, and The Cure, while carving out something that feels distinctly their own. For "in" Deep Heaven has teamed up with established mixing engineer Rob Dennler (Neil Francis, Built To Spill) to bring their sound to a new level. It is available in a beautifully designed CD or Cassette. Show more
