DeepCool DS9 is a 5g syringe of thermal paste for seating a CPU cooler or heat sink against a processor. Thermal conductivity of 6.5 W/(m·K) moves heat from the processor lid into the cooler base, filling the microscopic gaps that would otherwise trap air. The compound does not cure and is non-corrosive, so a cooler can be removed and refitted later without chipping hardened paste off the parts. An operating range of -40°C to +120°C covers everyday desktop loads as well as sustained heavy workloads. The 5g syringe holds enough paste for several applications on a standard desktop processor.
