Rays are symbolic of emotional freedom, trust and guidance. Follow your heart, what you LOVE. Your intuition. This day was so magical. There were so many turtles and I was so excited getting close to where I swim with the rays as I new it would be magic. And it was! I believe you need something in front of you that excites you. And then do everything you possibly can to get there. Everyone photographs the tops of rays or there backs. I think its like photographing someones backside and am always drawn to an animals face. Eagle rays are challenging to approach because they are smart and shy. I was determined to photograph front on. Connect with their eyes. This photo represents following your heart and not giving up on your dreams.
