-This apple tree is called October Deer Tracks, because that's all you'll find under this tree. The deer keep constant tabs on the mother tree in Mechanicsburg, PA and swoop in thr oughout the day to clean them up. -October Deer Tracks apple tree grows extremely vigorously and has huge leaves, sweet fruit with no acid. The mother tree is biennial, however I suspect this will be less of an issue now that it is grafted onto vigorous seedling rootstock. -Drop time is 1-30 October -This is a grafted tree on full standard seedling apple rootstock, selected to ensure rapid growth and a long-lasting presence.
