A hardy, productive Marbled Purple Stripe named for the town in Massachusetts where it was first developed. From what I understand, it started as an asexual tissue propagation to h elp relieve viral pressure. Popular in the Northeast for being a vigorous grower, even when it's propagated from bulbs now. 8 - 10 cloves per bulb.
