An affordable US-made offering from Deering! Featuring a gorgeous, violin-grade maple rim, the Special Open Back delivers a distinctly rich and present tone that defies its approac hable price point. With the addition of 5th-string spikes at the 7th, 9th, and 10th frets, alternate tunings are even to dial in. Featuring a rim diameter of 11", this example from Deering is super comfortable and quite lightweight. The planetary tuners on the headstock are nice and smooth to boot! Cosmetic condition is great throughout, with little to no dings or scratches or tarnishing of hardware. There's a very minor scratch on the resonating skin.
