Featuring a smooth grain front with a soft sueded back, it is lightweight, strong, and easy to work with, making it ideal for moccasins, medicine bags, pouches, mitts and gloves, garments, regalia, beadwork, appliqué, trim, fringe, repairs, and many other soft leather projects. #2 Grade hides provide plenty of beautiful, usable leather but may have more natural imperfections such as scars, holes, blemishes, crease lines, uneven areas, or irregular sections than our #1 Grade hides, making them a practical choice for makers who can plan their cuts around these natural characteristics.
