The Defender Utility is a great solution for those looking to add more storage to their Defender. This model is made for the Defender 90 Puma (not suitable for the new model Defenders).This system provides a large drawer with removable dividers, allowing you to have full use of the drawer, or divide it up for smaller items using the removable dividers. It also has a top opening storage cubby, for any small items you take with you. The front latch is lockable, allowing you to safely store any valuables too. The runners accept 100kg, so it's a heavy duty drawer. Foams can be added to accept shot guns and the side cubby is designed perfectly to allow ammunition boxes to be stored for shotguns if you wish to use it for this. The system is held down using two large bolts fitted to the original seat fixing point in a Defender 110 Stationwagon on the wheel arch. If you do not have this thread, you may need to drill and insert a rivnut, or bolt from underneath. However, fixing down is not absolutely essential. We do not fix our own system down as it fits very well. Please note this item is suitable for the Defender Puma Stationwagon only. It will come with threaded inserts installed to the top face panel on the right hand side, to enable our add-on cabinet to be easily retrofitted. If you are ordering for a TD5 please add a note, as we need to change the fuel filler cut out to suit. Top mounted storage basket and storage cabinet add ons available separately on our website.
