Make sure to have an extra set of pads on hand, which can be stored in the Lifeline carrying case. Lithium Battery: The Defibtech Lifeline Battery Pack Battery Pack lasts 5 years in the Lifeline AED while in stand-by mode. The battery pack comes with a 9-volt lithium battery that tests the AED daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly. This powerful battery can deliver up to 125 shocks, or 8 hours of continuous operating time. Make sure you always have a spare battery in case it is necessary during a rescue.
