What Makes It Great: Before you dye, you’ve got to prep. Fiebing’s Deglazer is the go-to solution for stripping off finishes, waxes, and oils so your dye or paint can soak in prope rly. Whether you're working with veg-tan or refinishing old leather, this stuff helps you start with a clean slate for the best possible results. Key Specs: Bottle Sizes Available: 4oz, 32oz Application: Apply with a clean cloth or dauber Best For: Removing factory finish or prepping previously treated leather More About This Product: Deglazer isn’t just a cleaner, it’s a surface prep tool that helps your dye or paint stick more evenly. If you skip this step, you’re more likely to get blotchy results or color that doesn’t penetrate. It’s especially helpful on chrome-tanned leather or anything that’s been waxed, sealed, or handled a lot. Use it sparingly, a little goes a long way. Just dampen a cloth or dauber, wipe the leather surface, and let it dry before applying dye or paint. Always test first on a scrap or hidden section to see how your leather reacts. Great for belts, wallets, holsters, and other projects where you want clean, pro-level color coverage. Show more
