A very smart 1940s Sarouk carpet from north west Persia. Dark blue cartouche shaped field with dark pink and ivory centre medallion; ivory and dark blue spandrels; all over scrolli ng flowers and foliage. Dark pink/red palmette and floral main border, yellow and pale blue guards. Small crease mark to right selvedge, otherwise in good, even pile. Soft handle. Video here 306 x 222cm Show more
