This Dell PERC H745 front RAID controller provides hardware RAID management for supported PowerEdge storage configurations using SAS and SATA drives. It is a front-mounted PERC 10 controller with 12Gb/s SAS/SATA support and 4GB of non-volatile cache, commonly used in Dell PowerEdge R450, R550, R650, R650xs, R6525, R750, R750xa, R7525, and T550 servers. Compatibility depends on the server model’s front-controller mounting location, supported PERC cable set, storage backplane type, drive interface, bay layout, and firmware support for the H745 controller.
