Inspiration: The softness and single complexity of delphinium, one of my favourite plants to paint. I attempt this subject over and over again, their form keeps inspiring me to paint freehand and let the colors blend with lots of water. This time it looks like it is bending in the gusts of wind, fragile and almost immaterial. Technical information:Original watercolor painting on high quality watercolor paper, 13x18 cm. Please note that the painting comes unframed, mounted in a passe-partout of the outer size 18x24 cm, which fits the standard frames.
