First long player from the Australian group, Den. The production and moves of this group are like that of an epic death rock group, a sound that seems to bounce between the familia r Christian Death haunt and that of a looser, key-friendlier sound of Magazine. The tempos and arrangements are so varied across this album that it's hard to properly address after only a few listens. Already one of the year's best discs from Australia and recommend if you enjoy any of the other "darker" releases on Paradise Daily like Lakes or Sex Tourists.
