Dendrobium guiberti is found in northern Thailand as a medium to large sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with erect, tufted, obscurely 4 angled, fusiform or clavate, to 80 cm lo ng stems with each node half covered by a white sheath and carrying 3 to 5, towards the apex, elliptic or ovate, persistent, acute leaves that blooms in the later summer on a pendent, developing rapidly, 22.5 to 30 cm long, to 60 flowered inflorescence.
