The detail is all in the lined yoke which has a soft stand up collar, button placket, and faux pocket flaps. The yoke back has a cute hanging loop. To add visual interest, the front and back both have curved inserts and to echo the yoke curves, the hems are curved at the sides with the back hem being a little longer than the front. The smock closes in front with hook and loop tape. Made from denim and soft draping fabric together with plenty of top-stitching, your doll will look great when wearing her smock with capris, long pants, leggings or skirts. This relatively easy pattern is designed to fit 18 – 20 inch soft-bodied dolls such as American Girl® and Australian Girl®. Quilters’ Cotton is not suitable for the skirt and sleeves. Quilters’ Cotton was used for the Yoke Lining only.
