Grown in Denton View Vineyard's granitic terroir, this wine benefits from a slow-growing season, resulting in vibrant red fruit flavours, hints of aniseed, and a refined tannic and acidic structure. Crafted in a classical style with the use of 29-year-old 500L puncheon barrels, it also incorporates a touch of new world influence. With a bright, medium ruby colour, it presents a complex array of aromas including dark cherries, sandalwood, dried roses, orange peel, and subtle botanical notes like quinine and juniper.
