Depression Cherry is the fifth studio album by Beach House, released on August 28, 2015, via Sub Pop in the U.S., Bella Union in Europe, Mistletone Records in Australia, Hostess En tertainment in Japan, and Arts & Crafts in Mexico. Co-produced with Chris Coady, it was recorded at Studio in the Country, Bogalusa, Louisiana, from November 2014 to January 2015. Dissatisfied with live drums on tour for Bloom (2012), the band opted for simpler arrangements on Depression Cherry. "Sparks" was the lead single, followed by "PPP" and "Beyond Love". The album debuted at number eight on the Billboard 200 with 27,000 copies sold. Two months later, they released Thank Your Lucky Stars. Show more
