Deps Buzzjet 96 is a versatile topwater wakebait built to call bass up with noise, splash, and sudden direction changes. Work it like a walk-the-dog and the loud multi-rattle and tail prop keep the surface busy, helping fish track it in wind and chop. When you need to cover water, burn it to push a big wake and draw from deeper. When fish follow but won’t commit, rip-pause it so the prop drags bubbles and the sliding weight shifts the bait into a head-first dart to the surface—an easy trigger for reaction bites. For pressured fish, deadstick it and add short twitches to keep it hovering in the strike zone. Deps Buzzjet 96 earned its reputation on Lake Biwa for good reason: it keeps producing when quieter topwaters fade out. Why Bass Anglers Love It Pulls fish up in rough water, thanks to a loud rattle package paired with a hard, splashy surface presence. Creates a convincing baitfish escape on command, thanks to the prop-driven bubble trail and shifting internal weight that snaps it upward. Covers shallow flats and edges efficiently as a shallow crankbait alternative, thanks to its bulging wake and steady surface track. Keeps your cadence clean around cover, thanks to a topwater profile that can be walked, burned, or stalled without losing control. Stays in the “big bite” lane with Deps Buzzjet 96, thanks to its irregular action and drawing power that keep attention on the surface. Technical Specifications Length: 4" Weight: 1-1/8oz
