Dermatix Silicone scar reduction gel, helps manage raised scars from burns, surgery, laser abrasion, chemical peels etc. It helps flatten, soften and smooth raised scars and reduces the itching and discolouration associated with raised scars. Dermatix forms a flexible transparent, odourless silicone sheet over scars. It can be used on both old & new scars and is suitable for sensitive skin and for use in children. Hypertrophic scars are raised, red scars that do not extend beyond the wound or injury site. Keloid scars are raised scars which extend beyond the original wound or injury. Ingredients: Active ingredient: Polysiloxane. Directions: 1. Apply when the wound has completely healed, and, keep away from the eyes and mucous membranes 2. Apply every morning and night 3. Allow to dry for 4-5 minutes before covering with clothing, cosmetics or sunscreen 4. Apply for a minimum of 2 months Use alone, it should not be applied over antibiotic skin preparations or other skin treatments or products Storage Instructions: Store below 25ºC.
