Unique stylized map of the Lake District's Derwent Water lake and surrounding area. Just south of Keswick, Derwent Water is the third largest lake by area, after Windermere and Ull swater. The map shows the full expanse of this impressive 4.6 kilometres long lake. Creatively depicted by Lake District based artist Dan Bell, reproduced from his original hand drawn pen and ink map with a fantasy theme and a splash of colour. Dan Bell has been drafting maps since the end of 2017. His first work, an emulation of Tolkien's Middle-earth, drew much online attention and since then he has gone on to specialise in the creation of maps covering real world places with a unique fantasy theme. After graduating from Imperial College London with a Master's degree in Ecology, Evolution and Conservation, his chance success led him down a rabbit hole of creation which he now works on full-time.
