This frog was inspired by the Desert rain frog species (Breviceps macrops). It’s cast in hard white gypsum and carefully hand-painted. There’s quite some weight to this plump, simi lar to stone, so it would make a great grumpy paperweight! It measures roughly 3” (8cm) in diameter. Rain frogs can be found in the desert of South Africa and Namibia. They have a mighty squeak and love to bury themselves deep into the sand. Sadly they’re a vulnerable species in the wild, but have captured the hearts of many and this is our tribute to them. As each piece is uniquely handmade, there may be minor variations in paint job.
