Location: West TexasJames Needham captured this photograph at a kismet moment—what he calls a mystical interweaving of sight and sound. Early one morning while driving through West Texas, “A Horse With No Name” by America played on the car stereo. While driving past a lone basketball ring set against a mountainous backdrop, the lyrics “there was sand and hills and rings” coincidentally drifted from the speakers.
