I first came across these Boojum trees while living out of my blue bus in Baja, moving slowly through the desert and learning its pace. Scattered across the landscape, their vertic al forms rise quietly from the ground beneath shifting clouds and distant mountains. Found only in Baja California and parts of Sonora, these trees feel shaped by time and isolation more than anything else, subtle at first, then impossible to forget once you’ve seen them. Show more
