Design Essentials® Sensitive Scalp Relaxer System is a conditioning relaxer designed to straighten the hair of clients with special scalp needs without irritation or discomfort. Ideal for hair with low to normal porosity and medium to thick or coarse textures. How it Works: Separate the hair into four sections. Apply Restore Vitamin Treatment to previously chemically treated hair, comb through for even distribution and DO NOT RINSE. Apply Calm Soothing Scalp Protection to the scalp using ¼-inch sections, parting throughout the head. Mix 1.33 oz. Liquid Activator (Part B) into Sensitive Scalp Relaxer (Part A) thoroughly Wearing protective gloves, apply relaxer 1/8 inch from scalp, on new growth. Repeat process until entire head is covered. After application, begin smoothing area where first applied, working in same direction as initial application.
