Inspiration In the summer of 2019, I visited a company responsible for putting together huge periodic table displays for universities and museums. Seeing the elements organized in a periodic table really brought science to life and added a dimension to science that really opened my eyes. Here is an example of one display being prepared for the trip to a local university. It's approximately 6 feet tall and 15 feet wide! Here's a close-up of a set installed at a local museum. Seeing samples of every element was incredibly interesting. I was in awe; I could stare at it for hours. Bringing Home the Awe Initially, as a result of this trip, we created 10mm cubes with their elemental information etched on them. Now, we're taking it to the next level by organizing the cubes on a tabletop periodic table.
