Tania Viegas is a Portugal-based fashion designer. Coming from the traditional fashion background, Tania’s practice has always been centered around sustainability and circular design. Constantly looking for new ways to reduce fabric waste and optimise design processes, digital fashion has become an organic next step for the designer to explore creativity without compromising her sustainable mission. Tania Viegas’s “Mask of Sanity” collection is inspired by the general traits that distinguish a psychopath. “A socially devastating disorder defined by a constellation of affective, interpersonal, and behavioural characteristics... Intraspecies predators who use charm, manipulation, intimidation, and violence to control others and to satisfy their own selfish needs” (Hare, 1998).
