The Mexican Grackle has a similar purpose to a standard Grackle noseband by preventing the horse from crossing its jaw. However the higher fit above the cheekbones allows greater e xpansion of the horse's nostrils which makes this ideal for high tempo work. With the pad sitting higher than a standard Grackle, the pressure point further up the nose allows for improved control. Show more
